Departure - day 1

Early in the morning, even before sunrise, I was up and preparing to go to the airport for my long trip. For some reason, there wasn't much anticipation, instead, i had this "no-big-deal","nothing-special" feeling. We have been talking about this trip for a few months now and the day of departure is finally here, but yet it doesn't seem like we are going to study in china for a whole semester what so ever. It just seems like we are going for a free-and-easy trip and living in an apartment together.

Doing some unpacking. Wonder why i look so weird =X This is just me and my roommate (liying)'s room. She is taking the cardboard on the left and mine is on the right. The middle portion is our shared hanging place. The door to the far left is towards the living room and the other one is to our toilet.

We went for dinner but at a KOREAN RESTAURANT!!! Hey people, this is China, so why aren't we having CHINESE food?? We had the private room to use.

End of the meal. Jun Sheng must be wondering, "What have we eaten?!?!?!?!?!"

Our first meal in china is Korean food. Kinda weird. Heehee. But YUMMY!! Wonder what good food we'll eat for the many days to come. Aren't you tempted? =X
